Does this train walk on water?
Vintage view of Island Heights Train station which was almost in the water as it appeared in 1910. There was substantial service during the summer season, with up to eight trains a day. During the winter months service was substantially less. As good roads developed in the area train travel became less and less popular. The branch was abandoned in the early 1930's.
