This is a great view of a shopping area in East Rutherford, in Southern Bergen County, New Jersey c 1930. The town was separated from Union Township and took the name Boiling Spring Township. It only kept that name until 1893 when it was renamed East Rutherford Borough. Over the past century East Rutherford has expanded its population and remained an area of commercial interest for industry and state concessions.
