This vintage print depects the 3rd of 4 arenas in New York City known as Madison Square Garden. This Garden operated from 1925 to 1968 on 50th Street and 8th Avenue and was known as Madison Square Garden III. Boxing was this Garden's claim to fame. However it also was home to two Hockey Teams, the New York Rangers, who are still playing at the new Garden, and the New York Americans who folded in 1942. Generations of children remember the Garden for the Ringling Brothers Circus and the Rodeo.
