Lets hop on board the Albertina
In this vintage print we are viewing the Lafayette Street Dock in the Oceanic section of Rumson. This bridge landed at the foot of Washington Street. Here we see the steamboat Albertina docked. Steamships were an important part of the growth of the Oceanic section of Runson. The Albertina and her sister ship the Sea Bird were two of the most prominent vessels on the Navesink River run.
