This pencil sketch portrays the Aeromarine Plane and Motor Co. Curtiss F5L seaplane Highball Express (built about 1920 in Keyport, N.J.) at International Cup Races. Aeromarine was founded by yachtsman Ingalls Uppercu, and ran between New York and Key West in the winters of the early 1920s. This seaplane was known as the Highball Express because it also transported wealthy passengers to Cuba during prohibition.
