This vintage art print depicts The Brooklyn Bridge, one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States as it appeared in 1890 looking from Brooklyn into Manhattan.. It stretches one mile over the East River and connects Brookly and Manhattan. It took thirteen years to complete and when finished in 1883, it was the largest suspension bridge in the world and the first steel-wire suspension bridge. Since its opening, it has become an iconic part of the New York skyline is known throughout the workd. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964.
