Take me out to the ball game.
Hand tinted print of the most famous baseball stadium - Yankee Stadium on its opening day in 1923. It has been in operation since then, although it went through a major renovation in 1976. A new stadium is currently being built and will be open for the 2009 season. For a little while yet we will be able to enjoy "The house that Ruth built". The Yankees played the Red Sox at the first game and beat them. To top it off Babe Ruth hit the first home run in the Stadium.
