The Detroit Tigers played baseball at the same field from 1912 to 1999. The Stadium was called Navin Field from 1912 to 1937, in 1938 it became Briggs Stadium and in 1961 it became Tiger Stadium. This vintage art print shows it in 1945 when it was known as Briggs Stadium. Located at the corner of Michigan and Trumball. the stadium was so popular with fans that the corner was often compared to Hollywood and Vine. The Stadium was replace with Comerica Park in 2000, leaving behind 88 years of memories.
