Shall we stop in for dinner?
In this image we see the Bernards Inn c 1908. The inn was opened in 1907 and was built using stone from an old stable which was torn down the same year. Many of the interior architectural details came from the original Plaza Hotel in New York City. The lobby staircase was one of the details and remains in place today. The Bernards Inn remains today as a symbol of elegance and grace in the Somerset Hills.
