Lets take in a movie at the Colonial.
Pencil sketch artist Joe Orsag has captured the essence of Bay Avenue in Beach Haven, NJ in 1935. This view shows the avenue looking north. The Colonial Theater was the center of town and the tenants included a dentist's office, JCP&L, Peterson's 5 and 10 cent store and a restaurant. The buildings are virtually unchanged since that time, although the tenants certainly have.
